Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with appropriate teams to develop marketing and branding strategy for existing and new products
- Lead the development and execution of marketing plan to drive customer sales and retention
- Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies
- Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products
- Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership
- Collaborates in the development of new products.
- Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies
- Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows
- Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy
- Collaborates with creative team in managing all Digital Platforms for Pyramex: Website, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to grow Pyramex presence online.
- Ensure that Pyramex has proper SEO to increase our presence with the end user.
- Ensure that Pyramex is properly represented on direct-to-consumer websites – Amazon, etc.
- Monitor competitor websites to provide monthly competitive updates
- Conduct periodic pricing analysis vs. competitors
- Plan and execute Marketing Initiatives to increase Pyramex sales of all current Pyramex product lines, giving primary focus to new product lines with extensive growth potential – Gloves, Welding, Hi Vis, and Head Protection
- Plan and execute regional programs in conjunction with sales group to assist in gaining market share regionally
- Provide ongoing analysis of Pyramex products and distributor network to increase market share.
- Provide monthly pricing and product analysis
- Provide monthly competitive analysis to product management and sales team
- Create a digital marketing plan for both industrial and retail to increase market share
- Plan product introductions for assigned product lines
- Ensure that Pyramex products are priced effectively in relation to competition and market
- Ensure that Pyramex sales and product development team are informed of competitive threats
- Increase Pyramex brand awareness through increased website traffic and online purchases for Pyramex distributors
- Increased focus by internal and external sales team on new and existing products as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field required; master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of management experience in a marketing role
- Experience in strategically growing, managing and developing a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition
- Ability to lead groups and be decisive
- Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
- Time management and organization to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
- Proficient with analysis and design software
- Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO
